Engineer - Mechanical (LV Systems)

Overview

Mechanical Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining low-voltage systems and enclosures, including concepts, 3D models, 2D drawings, and copper busbar sizing for sustaining and new product introduction projects.

What you'll do

• Develop concepts, 3D models, and 2D drawings for components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
• Perform copper busbar sizing and sheet metal concept development.
• Support product testing, industrialization, and launch readiness.
• Conduct engineering analysis of panels and enclosures.
• Evaluate clearance and creepage distances against product safety standards.
• Assist with test execution, result analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Support design improvements, process definition, and productivity automation.

What you'll need

• 5 to 7 years of experience.
• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong experience with 3D modelling and 2D drafting using Creo Direct.
• Knowledge of copper busbars, sheet metal manufacturability, and tooling.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and PLM processes.
• Experience with DFMEA and design validation.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Model Manager and SAP.
