Associate Finance Controller

Overview

Associate Finance Controller role in Accounting Operations, overseeing day-to-day financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with regulations, accounting principles and standards.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, accounting principles and standards.
• Cover cost accounting, including allocating and analyzing direct and indirect costs and performing actual vs. budgeted cost variance analysis.
• Cover budget accounting, including developing and monitoring annual revenue and expense budgets to control funds and measure operating results.
• Cover accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and invoicing roles.
• Work independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area, applying practical methods, techniques, work procedures and processes.
• Choose between known alternatives to solve problems within the area of expertise.
• Coach or mentor less experienced staff and manage day-to-day priorities to ensure task completion.

What you'll need

• Previous work experience in a related area, or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
