Associate – IA, Internal Audit Services, Advisory

Overview

Associate role in Internal Audit Services (Advisory) focused on independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurance information, including governance and risk management processes.

What you'll do

• Evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes and related controls.
• Support end-to-end internal audit services, including IA function setup and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex assessment issues and develop recommendations.
• Document findings and propose recommendations addressing root causes and organizational impact.
• Support timely completion of tasks, development of client deliverables, and status reporting.

What you'll need

• 0–1 years of experience in internal audit/process audit concepts and methodology.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and relevant internal control concepts.
• Experience with internal control concepts such as preventive controls, detective controls, risk assessment, and anti-fraud controls.
• Experience with IT systems/ERP environments.
• Knowledge of other applicable common laws (examples include Income Tax Act 1967 and Companies Act 1956).
