Associate, Implementation Consultant

Overview

Associate, Implementation Consultant in BlackRock’s Investment Accounting Group, supporting investment accounting platform migrations for insurance clients.

What you'll do

• Support asset onboarding and variance analysis for client migrations.
• Help stabilize the monthly close process during transitions.
• Improve process controls and user experience for the platform and workflows.
• Implement and operate BlackRock proprietary accounting software.
• Identify and assess system challenges and inefficiencies using analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Provide client-transition updates to internal groups about migration challenges.
• Support cross-functional projects and develop investment reporting production/control processes.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investments/markets with a focus on investment accounting.
• Comprehensive understanding of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Trial Balance reporting.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accounting standards.
• Familiarity with financial instruments including securities, loans, derivatives, alternatives, and mortgages.
• Fluency (written and oral) in English required.
