Associate IS Analyst – Vault Quality

Overview

Design, develop, configure, maintain, and integrate software applications and modules on the Amgen Veeva Vault Platform and hosted applications. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, high-quality solutions while ensuring system availability and performance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to gather requirements, assess data needs, and ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance across ETL pipelines.
• Lead day-to-day operations, configuration, and maintenance of Amgen’s Veeva Vault Platform and hosted applications.
• Translate concepts into working code using rapid prototyping skills.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, standard processes, features, new releases, and best practices for the Veeva Vault Platform ecosystem and Veeva Platform Governance.
• Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, SDKs, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into software architecture and design specifications.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies following IS change control and GxP Validation process while applying Risk Based Validation methodology.
• Work with product management, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time.
• Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes.
• Integrate with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.

What you'll need

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related streams.
• 2-5 years of work experience in Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience with Vault Quality and other Vault configuration settings and custom builds.
• Strong knowledge of information systems and network technologies.
• Experience working in the global pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience building configured and custom solutions on the Veeva Vault Platform.
• Experience managing systems and implementing and validating projects in GxP regulated environments.
• Extensive expertise in SDLC, including requirements, design, testing, data analysis, and creating and managing change controls.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Veeva Vault Platform Administrator or equivalent Vault Certification.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
• Team-oriented approach, with a focus on achieving team goals.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Databricks.
• Experience with API integrations such as MuleSoft.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, and Power BI.
• SAFe for Teams.

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• The role involves working a later shift and may require assignment to either a second- or third-shift schedule.
• Applicants should be willing and able to work evening or overnight hours based on business needs.
