Overview
Associate Manager focused on process/automation engineering within the Tech Operations team, working on Delta V/Delta DCS, PI Historian, and automation qualification for regulated environments.
What you'll do
- Develop DCS recipe parameters, formulas, and process flows based on tech transfer inputs.
- Review SDS/FS and related documents to understand automation requirements.
- Create qualification documents for DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ aligned to validation standards.
- Configure DeltaV DCS logic including batch recipes, control modules, equipment modules, formulas, and phases.
- Maintain traceability matrices and support audit readiness for documentation.
- Qualify historian systems and configure historian interfaces and integrations.
- Use PI tools (PI DataLink, PI Vision, PI Rt Reports) for analytics and compliance reporting.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics, Automation, Chemical, or related engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of automation engineering experience in a regulated industry (pharma/biotech preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of DeltaV DCS systems.
- Expertise with 7016 – Delta Batch Implementation or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and CSV principles.
- Experience with Delta DCS systems and PI Historian concepts (architecture, data archive, Asset Framework, event frames, PI Vision).
- Interface configuration experience with OPC and Modbus (and other industrial protocols).
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot for problem solving and productivity.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
