Associate Operations Manager

Overview

Associate Operations Manager role at R1 RCM, leading a team of associates and driving revenue cycle performance for US healthcare clients.

What you'll do

• Manage a team of associates and lead associate/SME level work independently.
• Perform revenue analytics to identify additional reimbursement opportunities in US healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Prevent revenue leakage in hospital and physician business.
• Analyse contract models, expected reimbursement methodologies, underpayment/payment variance, denial analytics, revenue capture ideas and insurance appeal follow-up.
• Meet required benchmarks for production, accuracy and efficiency.
• Control shrinkage and attrition of team members.
• Hold regular connects with team members on performance metrics, incentives, team engagement and professional growth.
• Clearly communicate goals to employees and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Set deadlines and assign the right individuals to tasks based on required skills.
• Communicate findings and observations with recommended actions to the US team.
• Manage daily huddles and resolve challenges and conflicts within the team or with external team members.
• Manage work allocation, inventory management and TNI for quality feedback.
• Maintain data for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, predictive analysis and dashboards.
• Create and define SOPs and TATs for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Onboard new joiners and upskill existing members as per process requirements.

What you'll need

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or college with a good academic track record.
• Knowledge of basic SQL, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a rapidly growing environment with tight deadlines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in US healthcare and 2 years' experience leading a process at TL/AM level.
• Strong analytical skills with emphasis on complex equations.
• Understanding of advanced technology that improves process efficiency.
• Flexibility to work in a 24x7 environment.
