Associate Principal Analyst – Food & Drink

Overview

Associate Principal Analyst for Mintel’s Food & Drink team, creating insight-led research and recommendations for clients in India.

What you'll do

• Develop and author English reports using Mintel consumer, product, and market intelligence data.
• Design quantitative consumer research projects, including objectives and questionnaires.
• Analyze consumer behavior, market dynamics, and emerging trends to identify opportunities and implications.
• Monitor industry developments and translate complex changes into commercially relevant recommendations.
• Use primary/secondary research and product innovation tracking to support a monthly publishing schedule.
• Present findings to clients via presentations, briefings, workshops, and advisory sessions.

What you'll need

• 5-7 years of experience in Food & Drink or FMCG, ideally in consumer insights or marketing.
• Strong understanding of quantitative consumer research design and methodology.
• Proven ability to analyze data and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Strong commercial awareness about factors shaping consumer behavior and market growth.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence to interact with senior client audiences and present research.
