Overview
Own customer escalations and product features end to end for an AI-native ERP platform: investigate the root cause, build the fix, test it on QA, record a Loom walkthrough for acceptance, and ship it through to production.
What you'll do
- Read support escalations, reproduce issues on QA, and trace root causes in code and production data.
- State clearly whether an issue is a product defect, a data gap, or working as designed, with supporting evidence.
- Build fixes in Java (Spring Boot) or Ruby on Rails, with tests, and a React change when the fix requires one.
- Open pull requests, answer review comments, and keep CI green.
- Test your own work on QA, covering the main user flow and the edge cases from the ticket, and attach screenshots and resulting database state to the ticket.
- Record a Loom of before and after, under five minutes, for product acceptance.
- Take changes through staging to production, monitor the deploy, verify in production, and update the original support ticket.
What you'll need
- 1 to 3 years of software engineering experience, or a new graduate who has shipped at least one project.
- Java and Ruby on Rails, strong in at least one, with clear evidence you can pick up the other quickly.
- SQL skills sufficient to prove a point.
- Ability to read production data to confirm or reject a theory before writing code.
- Clear written communication for tickets, pull request descriptions, and Loom narration.
- Serious hands-on use of AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar.
- Ability to work with some overlap with US time zones.
Nice to have
- React and TypeScript in a production codebase.
- Kubernetes, CI pipelines, or a deploy you have managed yourself.
- Basic accounting literacy: chart of accounts, journal entries, bank reconciliation.
- Experience on a product team that talks to customers directly.
Details
- Location: Noida Sector 62 office, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
- Some overlap with US time zones required.
- Application should include a link to a shipped project; a short Loom walkthrough of it is a plus.
