Associate/Senior Associate, Application Developer(Fullstack with Angular/ReactJS), Consumer Banking Group Technology

Overview

Design, develop and maintain scalable applications for the Corporate Banking division within Group Technology, using Java, Spring Boot and Angular/ReactJS, with an AI-first approach across the SDLC.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable applications for the Corporate Banking division.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Apply Agentic AI approaches towards SDLC phases with an AI-first mindset.
• Implement and optimize applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular/ReactJS, SQL and shell scripting.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, including release automation and process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, including Tomcat and JBoss deployments.
• Contribute to the development of standalone applications and microservices architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance the application's performance and security.
• Use Generative AI-powered development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality, such as Gemini CLI, Claude Code and Claude CLI.
• Leverage AI tools for code generation and refactoring, unit test creation, API development and documentation, code review assistance, root cause analysis and troubleshooting, and performance optimization recommendations.
• Apply responsible AI-assisted development practices, including validation of AI-generated code, security and compliance reviews, prompt engineering for software development, AI-assisted debugging and system analysis, and maintaining code quality, maintainability and governance standards.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3.5 to 9.5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in Angular/ReactJS, SQL and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience in SDLC, release automation and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Linux operating system and application servers like Tomcat and JBoss.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
