Overview

Join PwC’s Cybersecurity and Privacy services team to help clients implement effective cybersecurity programs that protect against threats. As a cybersecurity generalist, you will provide comprehensive security solutions across various domains and address diverse security challenges.

What you'll do

• Monitor and detect threats around the clock.
• Analyze suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior.
• Triage alerts and conduct initial assessment, incident validation, and severity and urgency evaluation.
• Prioritize security alerts and create incidents according to SOPs.
• Report and escalate to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-incident analysis.
• Perform consistent incident triage and provide recommendations using playbooks.
• Develop and maintain incident management and incident response policies and procedures.
• Preserve security alert and security incident artefacts for forensic purposes.
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs.
• Reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD and MTTR).

What you'll need

• For L1: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, SOC platform management, Automation, Asset Integration, Threat Intel Management, or Threat Hunting.
• For L2: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SOC, Incident Management, Incident Response, Threat Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, SOC platform management, Automation, Asset Integration, Threat Intel Management, or Threat Hunting.
• Any one of the following or equivalent: Certified SOC Analyst (EC-Council), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (EC-Council), Certified Ethical Hacker (EC-Council), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst), or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
• B.Tech, MCA, MBA with IT background, or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity or Computer Science.

Nice to have

• Product certifications on SOC security tools such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, or NBA.
• Experience with SOC and Splunk.
