Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Support and build technology for contact center operations across telephony, IVR scripting, digital chat, API integrations, Salesforce, and bswift applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain NICE IVR and digital chat scripts.
• Build and troubleshoot REST API integrations using JSON.
• Support client implementations and Open Enrollment script updates.
• Contribute to the UDR CSR portal using React and DynamoDB.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL and NoSQL queries across multiple systems.
• Collaborate with Telephony, Development, Salesforce, and WFM teams.
• Document scripts, configurations, processes, and known issues.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in software development, telephony/IVR scripting, contact center technology, or a related technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or similar scripting languages.
• Working knowledge of JSON and RESTful API calls.
• Exposure to React and DynamoDB or strong programming fundamentals.
• Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of Agile and Git workflows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cresta and its Salesforce and NICE integrations.
• Exposure to NICE ProactiveXS.
• Prior exposure to IVR, ACD, or digital chat platforms.
• Experience with Benefits Administration.
