Associate Solutions Engineer, Okta

Overview

Associate Solutions Engineer (Okta) serves as a technical and business advisor for developer personas across Australian commercial customers/businesses in the APJ timezone, mostly ANZ.

What you'll do

• Partner with sales teams as an identity authority to align Auth0 solutions with developer pain points and business goals through product demonstrations.
• Architect and execute hands-on Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate complex customer use cases with cross-functional teams.
• Answer in-depth technical questions on application security and identity infrastructure for high-trust deployments.
• Act as the strategic voice of the customer by bringing market insights and developer feedback to Product Management.
• Build reusable solution assets and share best practices at industry events, hackathons, and customer briefings.

What you'll need

• 4+ years as a Presales, Solutions, or Sales Engineer in IAM or security engaging developer personas.
• Deep understanding of the identity security ecosystem and enterprise landscape.
• Hands-on expertise with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and LDAP.
• Modern application security knowledge including encryption, XSS, CSRF, and token management.
• Ability to communicate complex identity architectures via live coding, whiteboarding, and executive presentations.
• Experience building and owning partner engagements and co-selling with channel allies.
