Overview

Associate Sourcing Specialist role at Dow in Navi Mumbai, supporting a portfolio of products or services to improve Dow's cost position and supply security through the strategic sourcing process.

What you'll do

• Support a portfolio of products or services to improve Dow's cost position and supply security in the market through application of the strategic sourcing process
• Support the negotiation, execution and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography
• Conduct Strategic Sourcing Projects including market analysis and the development of short and mid-term strategies
• Work with functional and business partners to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategy and implementation plans
• Manage Supplier Relationships including the commercial relationship
• Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators
• Understand and practice appropriate work process governance and compliance

What you'll need

• Prior sourcing knowledge
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline
• Performs routine assignments using existing procedures
• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles
• Entry level to a professional career progression

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP MM
• Knowledge of Power BI and SAP Ariba
• Procurement Purchasing: ability to understand the end-to-end process of sourcing and buying materials or services for the business
• Teamwork: ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal
