Sr. Specialist - S&P - Sourcing 4C

Overview

Senior sourcing specialist leading strategic sourcing, supplier selection and RFx processes for key categories within Genpact's Sourcing & Procurement function.

What you'll do

• Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, projects, or business units.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and develop sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to align sourcing goals with business needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and service.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and support supplier development initiatives.
• Lead and manage end-to-end Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Analyze proposals, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support final selection with data-driven insights.
• Ensure sourcing documentation and bid evaluations comply with internal policies.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to draft, review, and finalize supplier contracts.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update contract records and sourcing documentation in procurement systems.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through negotiation, consolidation, or alternative sourcing.
• Track and report on savings and value contributions to business leadership.
• Support budgeting and spend analysis activities.
• Act as a sourcing business partner to internal stakeholders by understanding requirements and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Conduct regular meetings with business units to gather feedback, address issues, and share sourcing plans.
• Provide sourcing expertise and market insights to support decision-making.
• Analyze historical spend data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain and utilize procurement dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Power BI).
• Identify and drive improvements in sourcing processes, systems, and policies to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Support the implementation of digital sourcing tools and e-sourcing platforms.
• Keep sourcing SOPs and templates updated.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's degree in Business Administration or Business Analytics.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Indian Institute of Management, Trichy.
• Required skills: Bid Analysis, Contract Management, Data Analytics, RFx Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Sourcing Strategic Thinking.
• English language proficiency at Upper Intermediate (B2) level.
