Associate Technical Publication Engineer

Overview

Associate Technical Publication / Localization engineer supporting localization and globalization workflows for software products.

What you'll do

• Assist in implementing localization workflows and managing production tools.
• Maintain and update translation memories and glossaries.
• Prepare and maintain localization kits and ensure translation-ready formatting.
• Run file preparation, conversion, and QA checks using localization tools.
• Perform linguistic and functional QA checks on localized content.
• Provide technical support to translation and production teams on tools and file formats.

What you'll need

• 1-2 years of experience in software localization or a related field.
• Degree/diploma (or equivalent) in a computer-related discipline plus related localization experience.
• Basic understanding of localization tools (e.g., Trados, Passolo, or similar).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as VBA, XML, or HTML.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, collaborative environment and handle multitasking.
