Associate Threat Response Analyst-3

Overview

Support Mimecast's Managed Threat Response service by investigating email-borne threats, advising customers, and improving detection and remediation.

What you'll do

• Analyze phishing and malicious email campaigns for indicators of compromise.
• Categorize email threats and recommend detection updates.
• Provide email security advice and remediation to customers.
• Research emerging security threats and their potential customer impact.
• Investigate security policies and suggest customer configurations in the Mimecast Administration Console.
• Collaborate with security vendors, research and development, and customer support.
• Monitor and respond to threats on a 24/7 rotational schedule using AI tools where appropriate.

What you'll need

• At least 1 year of experience working with the Mimecast platform.
• Working knowledge of messaging traffic management and routing.
• Experience with email security technologies.
• Strong understanding of DNS.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SSL/TLS, POP3, IMAP, and TCP/IP.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a rotational shift environment.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, India.
• Hybrid model requiring office attendance at least two days per week.
• May include afternoon and evening shifts and holiday support rotation.
