Associate Vice President, Client Services

Overview

Associate Vice President, Client Services at WPP Media, reporting to the Partner, Client Services. The role leads strategic communications and media planning for a set of brands, acting as a senior client contact.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic communications and planning leadership on your set of brands.
• Help build effective media interventions on the back of strong communication planning.
• Act as a senior-level contact for the client and lead strategic conversations on media and communication planning.
• Be responsible for the planning team's career development and progression.
• Develop creative ideas and disruptive communication innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer, and brand goals.
• Within three months, understand the category and brand objectives for the year and take initiative towards the agency's goals for the year.
• Within six months, successfully lead the account and engage with the client on the brand's media approach, initiate and deliver at least 2 key projects, and understand the in-house products and software well enough to demonstrate them in client conversations.
• Within twelve months, work on award entries and build high credibility with the team and client.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience handling offline and digital.
• Hands-on experience in FMCG.
• Expertise in TV planning.
• Working knowledge of digital platforms.
• E-commerce and digital experience.
• MBA in Marketing.
• Good communication skills and ability to present well.
• Persuasiveness.
• Pro-activeness.
• Stakeholder management.
• Ability to make good presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience handling auto clients in top agencies.
• Candidates from agencies are preferred.
