Job description

Overview

Labcorp is seeking an Assistant Data Programmer to join the Data Program team in Bengaluru. The role supports programming and process activities, quality checks, stakeholder communication, reporting, and team development.

What you'll do

  • Adhere strictly to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Complete all mandatory training in a timely manner.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency in Informatica-related tools, including Panther and other relevant applications.
  • Execute assigned tasks within the designated turnaround time.
  • Ensure high-quality output through thorough quality checks.
  • Work with multiple interruptions and handle multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner under demanding conditions.
  • Investigate programming or process-related issues as needed.
  • Identify root causes, provide resolutions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Handle administrative activities related to task execution efficiently.
  • Continuously monitor, track, and manage assigned activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Establish strong communication and rapport with stakeholders.
  • Provide prompt responses to stakeholder and management queries.
  • Generate and submit required metrics and reports upon request from management.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new programmers.
  • Provide mentorship to fellow team members.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Point of Contact (POC) for specific activities as expected.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology.
  • Current or prior LabCorp Apprentice experience.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Biotechnology.
  • More than 6 months of relevant experience in Panther.

Details

  • Location: Brigade Twin Towers, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore, India.
  • Work schedule: Rotational shift.
  • Working hours: 5:30 am to 2:30 pm IST or 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST.
  • 5-day working model.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize is required.
  • High attention to detail and focus on quality are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under tight timelines are required.
