Asst project lead

Overview

Support the Project Lead in delivering interior fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception through completion, coordinating design consultants, contractors and stakeholders to meet client requirements, quality standards, budgets and schedules.

What you'll do

• Assist in managing interior projects including workplace fit-outs, refurbishments and base building installations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, contractors and internal JLL teams.
• Facilitate meetings, distribute project communications and ensure alignment across all parties.
• Support design development and review processes.
• Track design submissions, manage approval workflows and ensure documentation compliance with client standards and local regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Review contractor invoices, process variations and maintain accurate project financial records.
• Monitor construction quality, conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design intent, building codes and health and safety requirements.
• Support handover documentation and defect management processes.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in interior fit-out project delivery.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, materials and finishes.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial workplace projects.
• Familiarity with sustainability standards (LEED, WELL).
• Knowledge of local building regulations and compliance requirements.
