Overview
Automation Anywhere (A360) Support Engineer to provide L1, L2, and L3 production support for RPA bots and ensure stability and performance of automated processes.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary point of contact for production RPA support incidents (L1, L2, L3).
- Manage the full support ticket lifecycle from logging and triage to deep-dive analysis and resolution.
- Monitor RPA production environments for bot failures, performance degradation, and system alerts.
- Troubleshoot A360 bots by analyzing logs, reviewing code, and checking bot configurations to find root causes.
- Implement timely fixes ranging from configuration/data changes to code adjustments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and the RPA development team for escalations and bug handovers.
- Create and maintain support documentation such as troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
What you'll need
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in an RPA environment.
- At least 2 years focused on production support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Automation Anywhere (A360) bots.
- Experience managing incidents and support tickets in an IT Service Management (ITSM) framework (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and meeting SLAs.
- Expert-level debugging of A360 components, including Task Bots, MetaBots, and IQ Bots/Document Automation.
- Diagnostic skills for A360 issues involving SQL database connectivity, API integrations, and credential management.
- Familiarity with RPA deployment, version control, and Control Room management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical issues and resolution steps.
Nice to have
- Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional (A360) certification.
- Experience with Gen AI or chatbot integrations within the A360 platform.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with other RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate).
