Automation Engineer - HIL

Overview

Assists in the design, definition, development, and test of robotics software, working with senior engineers to meet internal and external client needs.

What you'll do

• Collect and research data on customer experience with robotic platforms; prepare reports for management.
• Document architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate tools to debug, test and maintain software and hardware systems of robotic tools; assist in the verification and validation process.
• Participate in the design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.

What you'll need

• A degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Working knowledge of industry trends, regulatory considerations and major issues for the organization's industry segment.
• Working knowledge of problem solving approaches, tools and techniques for recognizing and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and a structured methodology for delivering and managing software products.
• Working knowledge of software product testing, including test readiness reviews, functional, volume, and load testing.
• Working knowledge of application and system development toolkits.
• Basic understanding of the concepts, technologies and methodologies of artificial intelligence.
• Working knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools, including writing, debugging, troubleshooting and maintaining source code and programs.
• Working knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques for hardware, software, application or operation issues.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka.
• Works onsite five days a week.
