Automotive Display Software Engineer

Overview

Develop, integrate, and debug display software for next-generation automotive platforms, covering display drivers, display bring-up, software integration, and debugging across Linux and Android Automotive environments.

What you'll do

• Develop and integrate automotive display drivers and display pipelines.
• Support system and display bring-up, including MIPI DSI integration.
• Debug embedded display issues and support customer-focused software delivery.
• Work across Linux and Android Automotive platforms.
• Applies software application knowledge and technical expertise of software systems to assist with technical presentations in support of business development, customer training, product demonstrations, commercialization, customization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.
• Collaborates with team members to answer customer inquiries and support debug issues in customer design software systems.
• Assists with completing tasks related to system architecture and feature-specific customizations tailored for customer requirements from proof of concept to final product commercial launches.
• Assists in assessing potential application of company products, preparing product specifications, disseminating technical information, and/or troubleshooting issues regarding software tools and products.
• Writes product technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-2 years of embedded software development experience.
• Programming: C, C++.
• Operating systems: Linux, Android Automotive.
• Debugging: GDB.
• Version control: Git, Gerrit.

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Works under supervision; decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
• Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.
