XR Software Engineer (All Levels - Multiple Positions)

Overview

XR Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing next-generation technologies and platforms for AR/VR/MR applications.

What you'll do

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand AR/VR use-case requirements, dataflows, and HW/SW partitioning.
• Translate use-case requirements into implementation specifications and contribute to software design.
• Implement and oversee design, development, creation, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software.
• Present end-to-end solutions to resolve design, coding, and technical issues.
• Oversee code reviews, regression tests, and issue triage to ensure code quality.
• Deploy computer vision algorithms/features into commercial XR products.
• Develop production code and system architectures with strong design quality.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Information Systems/Computer Science or related field.
• 2-10+ years of software engineering or related work experience (or 1-9+ years with a master’s degree).
• Expertise with modern C++ (11-20) and writing reliable, maintainable, idiomatic code.
• Experience with multi-core programming on heterogeneous mobile architectures.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python (2+ years academic or work experience).
