Graphics Software Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

Graphics Software Infrastructure Engineer designing, building, and operating tools and software products for next-generation gaming, XR, and AI experiences.

What you'll do

• Apply graphics and software engineering to compile, verify, debug, and deploy GPU drivers, features, applications, and tools.
• Develop software features, tools, automation, and APIs using languages such as Python, TypeScript, PHP, Groovy, C, and C++.
• Integrate AI technologies to improve productivity and effectiveness for software environment and development teams.
• Use continuous integration, static analysis, distributed computing, network security, secure coding, branching, and package management to build secure development workflows.
• Identify design deficiencies and collaborate to implement improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand new features, ensuring successful implementation and customization.
• Create design documentation and feature specifications.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related) plus 2+ years of related work experience.
• Alternatively, Master’s degree in a related field plus 1+ year of related work experience.
• Preferred: proficient development skills in Python.
• Preferred: working knowledge of compiled software development lifecycle and tools.
• Preferred: knowledge of programming languages suitable for graphics development (e.g., C++, C).
• Preferred: experience with Git and/or Perforce revision control.
• Preferred: proficiency with build and make system development.
