Full-Stack Wireless Software Engineer

Overview

As a Full-Stack Wireless Software Engineer, you will build and validate wireless features across access points, controllers, and management systems. This is a full development and test role spanning implementation, validation, and automation.

What you'll do

• Develop and integrate wireless features across AP, controller, and management layers.
• Write and maintain software in C/C++ and scripting languages, including Python.
• Design and execute test plans.
• Develop automation for feature validation.
• Analyze logs, packet traces, and system behavior to debug issues.
• Reproduce issues and validate fixes across system components.
• Set up and use lab environments for testing wireless scenarios.
• Collaborate with platform, radio, QA, and cloud teams.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve development, testing, and debugging efficiency.

What you'll need

• MS + ~3 years or BS + ~5 years of experience.
• Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and Wi-Fi basics (802.11).
• Experience or interest in testing, automation, and system validation.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Interest in working across development and test domains.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with WPA2/WPA3 security basics.
• Exposure to controllers or cloud-managed systems.
• Experience with Wireshark or similar tools.
