Overview
AV Engineer designing and implementing audio-visual systems for office collaboration across locations.
What you'll do
- Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds, expansions, and retrofits.
- Create and maintain AV system designs with technical drawings.
- Program and commission AV systems to meet use cases and user requirements.
- Execute first-day-of-business deployments for new offices.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and workplace teams on AV requirements and integrations.
- Develop automated solutions to improve system reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Oversee global AV operations and service delivery standards.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing AV systems in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in control system programming using the Q-Sys ecosystem or similar.
- Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms, particularly Google Meet.
- Ability to read and create AV technical drawings including schematics, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
- Understanding of DSP concepts for audio (e.g., acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ/dynamics, automixing).
- Familiarity with enterprise video distribution, streaming technologies, and broadcast standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex integrated systems.

- Based in the NYC office.
- Requires up to 8 weeks of domestic and international travel.
- Hybrid office policy: expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
- Annual compensation range: $285,000–$325,000 USD.
