Overview
AV Engineer based in London to design, implement, and commission audio-video systems that enable collaboration and communication across EMEA offices.
What you'll do
- Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds, expansions, and retrofits.
- Create and maintain AV system designs (schematics, line diagrams, elevation plans).
- Program and commission AV systems for specified use cases and user requirements.
- Run first-day-of-business deployments so systems are operational for day-one occupancy.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and workplace teams to deliver AV requirements and integrations.
- Develop automated solutions to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.
- Partner with Security and IT to ensure enterprise security requirements are met.
What you'll need
- 8+ years designing and implementing AV systems in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in control system programming using the Q-Sys ecosystem or similar.
- Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms, particularly Google Meet.
- Ability to read and create AV technical drawings including schematics, line diagrams, and rack elevations.
- Knowledge of DSP concepts for audio (e.g., acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ/dynamics, automixing).
- Familiarity with enterprise video distribution, streaming technologies, and broadcast standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex integrated systems.

- Location: London office; needs up to 25% office time per hybrid policy.
- Travel: up to 8 weeks domestic and international travel for new office build-outs.
