AVP Senior Data Engineer L11

Overview

AVP Senior Data Engineer (L11) technical lead for ETL/warehouse application build and run support, with oversight across design, validation, governance, and production promotion.

What you'll do

• Own ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) build project deliverables.
• Oversee vendor work by reviewing designs against project requirements.
• Review and certify IT estimates, requirements, designs, coding, and testing deliverables.
• Oversee QA validation and production promotion activities.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, architecture, technology, and security standards.
• Govern software change control related to Ab Initio and DW technology.
• Interface regularly with Data Warehouse application stakeholders.

What you'll need

• At least 6 years of experience in data management.
• At least 6 years of experience with ETL tools such as Abinitio.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or MCA.
• Agile software development methodology experience.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting, SQL, software version control, and Ab Initio.
• Strong database and data warehouse concepts understanding.
• Experience in data architecture and data modelling.

• Location: Hyderabad, India.
• Work timing anchored to US Eastern hours with a required availability window of 06:00 AM–11:30 AM Eastern Time.
• Flexibility includes option to work from home or from engagement hubs in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, or Delhi/NCR; occasional commute/travel for in-person activities in hubs.
