Business Intelligence Developer

Overview

BI Developer building and operating enterprise dashboards, semantic models, and reporting assets using governed enterprise data.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Power BI enterprise dashboards and reports.
• Deliver end-to-end reporting solutions from requirements through data sourcing, cleansing, normalization, and reporting.
• Develop, automate, and run user-friendly dashboards and reports.
• Handle report operations, refresh, and defect resolution for the enterprise BI layer.
• Build and improve Microsoft Tabular semantic models and metric definitions, including enrichment metrics and segment classifications.
• Ensure data accuracy through testing, validation, and root cause analysis for BI delivery issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience delivering enterprise BI solutions as a BI Developer/BI Analyst (or similar).
• Advanced hands-on expertise with Power BI, including Tabular models and DAX.
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL for data wrangling and reporting on large volumes of data.
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS or equivalent).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access for enterprise BI and certified data sources.
