Overview
Lead BI Developer role focused on end-to-end Power BI dashboards and reporting, including data analysis, validation, and business requirement translation.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather and understand business requirements and convert them into reporting solutions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Perform data validation and quality checks for accuracy and consistency.
- Create and maintain Power BI data models, relationships, measures, and DAX calculations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues.
- Document dashboard logic, data sources, and validation processes.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience building end-to-end dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts and DAX, plus ETL process knowledge and GitHub familiarity.
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and create meaningful visualizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
- Experience with Power Query (M Language).
- Relevant Power BI certifications.
