Associate - Power Bi Developer, Data Analytics

Overview

Associate in IT Data Analytics (Power BI / BI) in Mumbai, partnering with investment, operations, and finance teams to deliver analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled insights.

What you'll do

• Partner with Portfolio Management, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Investor Relations to understand processes and analytics needs.
• Identify reporting gaps and process inefficiencies for automation or analytics improvements.
• Capture business requirements and translate them into functional and reporting specifications.
• Identify opportunities for AI-enabled analytics to improve reporting, insights, and decision-making.
• Support adoption of AI-driven analytics with technical teams and business users.
• Develop familiarity with consuming AI outputs in dashboards and reports.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of total relevant experience.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry (e.g., hedge fund, private debt fund).
• Strong stakeholder management skills to translate needs into analytics solutions.
• Good knowledge of SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Experience with Power BI or a comparable platform such as Tableau/Qlikview.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional degree preference: Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field, plus an MBA from a tier I institute.

• Location: Mumbai.
• Work model: hybrid; required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
