Data Engineer

Overview

Data Engineer working in a hybrid setup to design, develop, and manage MDM and data pipelines for analytics and machine learning.

What you'll do

• Owns, develops, and publishes an enterprise MDM data model.
• Designs scalable data pipelines for machine learning using Apache Spark and Databricks services.
• Plans and manages the MDM and Databricks deployment lifecycle.
• Provides leadership on MDM/DQ best practices, governance, standards, and conventions.
• Ensures compliance with data security and privacy mandates through coordination with security resources.
• Leads technical design reviews and resolves complex master data architecture and performance issues.

What you'll need

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Management / Development.
• 5 years of data modeling experience using CA Erwin or Embarcadero ER Studio.
• 5 years of experience in data warehousing.
• 2 years of experience as a technical lead.
• 2 years of working experience with an MDM solution.
• Required disciplines include Data Warehousing, MDM, Data Quality Management, Relational/Dimensional Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL, plus experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
