What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems.
• Break down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape features and system design.
• Write high-quality, well-documented, and maintainable code.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of engineering experience solving real-world scaling challenges.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• System design skills to design for scale, reliability, and efficiency.
• A degree from a top-tier engineering college, or equivalent real-world experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and high-throughput systems.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Thinking in terms of trade-offs rather than just best practices.
• Prior experience working in an early-stage startup.
