Backend Software Engineer

Overview

Mid-level Backend Engineer on the Engineering team, building and owning features in the core APIs and services behind the Megaport platform that provision connectivity between data centers.

What you'll do

• Own real features on backend systems that customers depend on every day.
• Help ship high-quality software faster.
• Build and maintain the APIs and services that turn Portal actions into provisioned connectivity between data centers.
• Work on the main Java and Kotlin codebase using the Spring Boot framework.
• Write Kotlin as the codebase migrates fully to Kotlin over time.

What you'll need

• A few years of experience building backend services.
