Backend Tech Lead 4C

Overview

Backend Tech Lead role focused on designing, developing, and supporting Java Spring Boot microservices applications, with client-facing and stakeholder responsibilities and Azure integration modernization work.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build and support REST APIs and integration services.
• Support Architects in designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.
• Participate actively in requirement gathering, solution design, and technical discussions.
• Contribute to Azure migration and modernization initiatives using Azure Integration Services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory.
• Act as a client-facing technical representative and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Provide production support, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Provide support for weekend monthly releases, quarterly maintenance activities, and planned deployment activities, ensuring successful implementation and post-release validation.
• Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, development teams, and multiple vendors for successful project delivery.
• Maintain and track work items, releases, and deliverables through Jira.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Development.
• Strong experience with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including Azure functions using .net, Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong SQL and application support experience.
• Understanding of monitoring, production support, and release management processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience working directly with clients.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
• Qualifications: Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Bachelors - Software Engineering, GED - Computer Technology, Masters - Computer Science, or Masters - Information Technology.
• Language: English Language Proficiency - Intermediate - B1.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
• Exposure to Azure cloud technologies and containerized deployments (Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
