Banking Operations Associate

Overview

Banking Operations Associate role supporting commercial banking operations, including origination guidelines, financial statement analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

What you'll do

• Provide subject matter expertise support for understanding origination guidelines and utilizing the underlying financial statements to complete the origination process
• Undertake ad-hoc reporting / analysis requirements
• Analyze and execute assignments/deals with moderate complexity
• Provide work products with improved quality and timeline
• Realize responsibility and complete the task at hand
• Make a little independent decision making

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree with Finance specialization (B.B.M/Bachelor's degree with Finance specialization)
• MBA/B.COM Finance and Accounting
• 2+ years of experience
• Flexible to shifts
• Good team player who is dynamic, result-oriented with strong work ethic

Nice to have

• Experience in origination system and client customized templates
• Experience/exposure of US commercial banking operations

• Location: Chennai
• Solves routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines; interactions within own team and direct supervisor
• Receives detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments
• Individual contributor as part of a team with a predetermined, focused scope of work
• May require working in rotational shifts
