Base Line & Release Manager-GDC

Overview

Baseline & Release Manager for the Group Data Collector (GDC) team, owning build, baseline, and release processes.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain automated build scripts and processes to build, package, and prepare releases using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Manage version control systems and support developers with version control best practices.
• Own baseline management by establishing, tracking, and controlling software baselines across project phases.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Orchestrate software releases, manage deployments, and maintain rollback procedures.
• Set up and maintain development, testing, and production environments for consistency.

What you'll need

• 7 to 10 years of experience (also stated as 7+ years) in Build Engineering, Release Management, DevOps, or a related role.
• Proven build automation experience using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab), including branching strategies and baseline management.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in package management and environment configuration across dev/test/prod.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform).

Nice to have

• Automotive domain experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) or ISO 26262 compliance.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitHub for project tracking and documentation.
