BI Engineer

Overview

BI Engineer / Senior BI Developer role focused on designing, building, and owning BI and reporting solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions in TIBCO Spotfire.
• Own end-to-end BI delivery including requirements, data modeling, calculations, and report/dashboard development.
• Define design approach and architecture for data models and calculations.
• Manage version control and deployment via GitHub, including code review and approvals.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, and product teams to resolve data and quality issues.
• Identify and escalate risks or inefficiencies early; mentor team members.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of BI development experience with hands-on TIBCO Spotfire dashboard and reporting development.
• Experience with Power BI and willingness to work across multiple visualization platforms.
• Strong data modeling skills including star schema, relationships, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant data architecture and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Practical GitHub experience in a team deployment workflow.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
