Business Analyst

Overview

A Business Analyst in Product supporting strategic, high-visibility projects by providing inputs on initiatives to reach product targets, collaborating with teams to implement them, and assessing outcomes.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with the team and product partners to understand business requirements, capture data and analyze data sets.
• Supervise acquisition, engagement, monetization and retention analyses by scripting complex SQL queries.
• Improve reporting to Product Leadership with improvements to dashboards and presentations.
• Provide insights into the products and supervise performance through critical KPIs.
• Build Tableau reports to disseminate information to team members and to convey results to Senior Leadership.
• Find opportunities and make recommendations by analyzing product data.
• Provide input on initiatives to reach product targets of the strategic project, run and then assess proposed actions in collaboration with relevant teams.

What you'll need

• Master's Degree or higher in Mathematics or Statistics.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field.
• Experience extracting and processing big data using SQL, Hadoop tools, and Tableau.
• Illustrated history of living the values vital to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics.

Nice to have

• Product data experience.

• Hybrid work model: two days in-office, as determined by you and your manager (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).
