Business Analyst – Mortgage Technology

Overview

Support the design and delivery of mortgage technology features within agile teams. The role focuses on requirements analysis, functional design, user stories, testing, and stakeholder communication.

What you'll do

• Collect, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Define project goals, scope, timelines, and priorities with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain user stories and functional designs.
• Support agile development, QA, UAT testing, and demos.
• Investigate system usage, errors, exceptions, and validation handling.
• Track projects, communicate status, and escalate delays or roadblocks.
• Communicate test progress, results, and issues to stakeholders and management.

What you'll need

• College degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of industry or relevant experience.
• Over 5 years of mortgage, technology, or secondary market experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive problem-solving and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and web-based systems.
• Ability to build professional relationships and provide constructive feedback.

Nice to have

• Finance or mortgage banking training.
• Experience as a QA or Technology Analyst at SitusAMC.

• Flexible schedule required.
• Annual full-time base salary: $95,000–$115,000.
