Business Analyst Treasury- Analyst

Overview

Play a key role in the enhancement of the Core Banking System (CBS) and downstream reporting from a business perspective, as a Business Analyst (T24 SME) at MUFG in Bengaluru.

What you'll do

• Evaluate business processes and reporting requirements, document them, and coordinate with the development team.
• Lead gap analysis discussions, including creating BRD, FSD and BRFSD documentation.
• Troubleshoot BAU system issues, record and track them in JIRA/Confluence, and liaise with HO and technical teams for timely closure.
• Ensure solid partnerships across branches and maintain relationships with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Technical BA, global partners and vendors.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Test and migration plans.
• Work closely with the Operations team, CB team and vendors and ensure timelines are met without delays or issues.
• Understand current process and product flow and bring solutions for manual process steps, via automation through CB or other modes.
• Identify issues and risks in the current process flow and bring the right mitigants to protect the bank's overall risk parameters.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and meet business needs and requirements.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for T24 system configuration and customization.
• Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure successful system implementations and integrations.
• Provide expertise in T24 modules, configurations and functionality to support project requirements.
• Maintain a project-related data repository and prepare business process documentation.
• Provide walkthroughs and training to business users as required.
• Apply treasury products knowledge with T24 integration.

What you'll need

• University graduate in business or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant working experience in a bank/GCC in Operations – Treasury.
• Experience creating, analyzing and publishing business requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of project tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project and Visio.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical, documentation, fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience of CBS implementation projects, especially T24 – AA/TPH/MD/LD modules and T24 Analytics.
