Business Associate - MUMBAI

Overview

Business Associate within the Marketing Franchise Management, USCC Business Execution team (MRM Platform, Invoice Governance and Invoice Processing), managing invoice management activities for USCC and Client, and coordinating business financials, financial reporting and strategic platform projects.

What you'll do

• Serve as Invoice Processing Lead for USCC and other businesses.
• Drive advancement of business financial management goals.
• Develop and maintain communication standards and procedures; serve as subject matter expert on platform and invoice governance processes.
• Develop monthly communications and reports to monitor and measure impact of financial/accrual processes.
• Coordinate with multiple internal cross functional teams to ensure the correct accounting treatments are associated to each invoice.
• Ensure stakeholders understand the invoice process.
• Provide regular training and support on all invoice processing related queries.
• Manage all requirements, testing and change management support on technology releases related to accounting as needed.
• Ensure all stakeholders are identified, define scope and lead reengineering activities to streamline invoice processes.
• Escalate issues and risks to management when appropriate.
• Perform multiple control functions to ensure Citi's books and reports are reflected correctly.
• Complete compliance related activities and reporting.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
