Business Process Architect

Overview

As a Business Process Architect, you will analyze and design new business processes and create the documentation that guides their implementation, working as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.

What you'll do

• Analyze and design new business processes that align with organizational goals.
• Create documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases that meet process and functional requirements.
• Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.
• Engage with multiple teams and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams and to business area problems.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of business processes with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and foster consensus among diverse groups.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding their professional development.

What you'll need

• Minimum 18 years of experience in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
• 15 years full-time education.
• Proficiency in SAP for Oil & Gas Downstream.
• Expertise with SAP MM Materials Management, SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), or one of the SAP functional modules.
• Delivery experience with Energy Industry programs (SI & AMS).
• Strong capability in business process modeling and documentation techniques.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable process designs.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory and compliance standards related to oil and gas downstream operations.
• Influencing and advisory skills.
