CCDEG Data Scientist

Overview

Lead data science and machine learning work as a CCDEG Data Scientist, developing software and production-ready models that support business and technology capabilities.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable, maintainable software using programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Design and implement machine learning pipelines from preprocessing through deployment.
• Analyze large datasets and perform data wrangling.
• Apply unit testing and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other functions.
• Communicate complex data-driven insights to business stakeholders.
• Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members on complex work.

What you'll need

• Strong experience in Python programming for data science and machine learning.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and software design principles.
• Proficiency with pandas, NumPy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience working with large datasets and data wrangling.
• Ability to communicate complex data-driven insights to business stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex tasks or guiding team members.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying machine learning models in production.
• Familiarity with deep learning architectures and frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks and MLflow.
• Experience with Bedrock and LangChain.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in agile, collaborative, and global team environments.
