Overview

Senior Software Developer (Software Engineer) working remotely for Cision in Canada, focused on building and enhancing applications using AI agents within a spec-driven development framework.

What you'll do

• Develop .NET solutions from high-level specs while minimizing technical debt.
• Orchestrate AI agents to generate production-ready code and automated tests.
• Use multi-LLM workflows for code verification and quality assurance.
• Maintain a test-first approach to ensure AI-generated code meets functional, security, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and engineering stakeholders to refine specs and meet objectives.
• Stay updated on technology trends and product roadmaps to guide development.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and promote best practices and cross-team collaboration.

What you'll need

• Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-native coding in VS Code.
• Expertise with GitHub Copilot Agent Mode and AI-driven debugging.
• .NET 6+ with C#.
• SQL, Git, unit testing, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with messaging & queuing.
• Front-end framework experience such as React.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related subject area and 6+ years in IT and solution delivery (or equivalent education/experience).
