Client Engineer

Overview

Client Engineer responsible for supporting, maintaining, and advancing Zillow’s internal collaboration tools to improve productivity and employee experience.

What you'll do

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for collaboration platforms.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Manage, configure, and optimize client-side components of collaboration applications.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and engineering collaboration and productivity tools.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian (or similar platforms).
• Expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of AI tools (generative, agentive, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Details

• Office position: approximately 80 to 100 percent of time in the Zillow India office each month.
• Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
