Cloud Architect

Overview

Cloud Architect role focused on designing reliable and secure client GCP environments and advising stakeholders. The position involves solution architecture, requirements/scoping, and promoting Google Cloud with clients.

What you'll do

• Build advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage with management.
• Identify customer priorities, objections, and design strategies for GCP to resolve blockers.
• Lead requirements gathering and project scoping.
• Produce solution designs, problem-solving support, and architecture diagramming.
• Provide recommendations for integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.
• Lead planning, status, and standup meetings, and attend customer sites/conferences as required.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of GCP experience (must-have).
• Played 2+ years as a GCP Architect.
• GCP Architect Certification required.
• Experience building/designing/implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
• Extensive cloud security (zero trust) and networking experience.
• Ability to advise/implement CI/CD practices using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy.
