Cloud Automation Engineer – Vice President, Lead Cloud & Infra Engineering

Overview

Hands-on Vice President Cloud Automation Engineer leading the design and development of automation platforms for multi-cloud infrastructure orchestration and provisioning.

What you'll do

• Design and develop self-service platform capabilities for public cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Construct automated cloud foundations and establish self-service provisioning platforms.
• Implement policy-driven orchestration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and production-grade automation.
• Enhance and integrate CSP automation frameworks with in-house tools.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, code reviews, and mentoring for junior engineers.
• Define and document Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for architectural alignment.
• Support debugging of application failures in production and participate across the SDLC.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on experience developing and designing applications using Python, Golang, and Terraform.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Proficiency with database technologies, preferably NoSQL, including modelling, testing, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
• Expertise in Linux environments.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin, GoDog, or behave.
