Cloud Engineer, AVP

Overview

Build, operate, and govern secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective hybrid cloud applications and services. Own solutions end to end while meeting security, regulatory, technology risk, and operational resilience requirements.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP cloud environments.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
• Implement IAM policies and cloud security and compliance controls.
• Configure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and interconnects.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or third-party tools.
• Manage GCP databases, containers, GKE, and Cloud Run deployments.

What you'll need

• Strong experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD tools, and GitOps workflows.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance.
• Experience with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and solve business problems.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional DevOps Engineer.
